A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FROM MITS!

We just completed our 2019 MITS Annual Conference at the end of April and it was by far one of our BEST meetings ever!

MITS Annual Conference David of Hillcountry Bakery

We had a record attendance with many new members, as well as our regular attendees who would never miss a MITS annual conference! Great memories were made, new friendships formed, and some outstanding best practices were shared and presented by a few of our expert owners. The accolades continue to pour in, as it was a HUGE success!

One of our highlights was our guest Keynote Speaker, David Nolan, of San Antonio, TX. David is the founder of Hill Country Bakery, a privately held company, with over $100 million in annual revenue and over 800 employees. Just to give our readers a hint, this bakery supplies all those delicious baked goods that you can purchase at your local Starbucks! Yes, we had the “$100M man” speak at our conference!

David has also successfully developed and marketed products for the Top Fortune 500 companies in the United States, the Top 100 restaurant chains, and the United States military. Currently, he has developed an obstacle course called Alpha Warrior which provides training and obstacle fitness for civilians and military around the world.

As a seasoned, serial entrepreneur, David’s track record of building strong teams and innovating industries has led to decades of success. We were honored to have him share with our group some of the challenges he faced as a young entrepreneur, as well as some greatly celebrated successes to encourage us to take our businesses to the next level. It was such an amazing and inspiring testimony and we were deeply honored to have him as our guest.

MITS Annual Conference Performers

We planned our conference around “Fiesta San Antonio,” San Antonio’s biggest celebration of the year, which honors our heroes from the Battle of the Alamo and San Jacinto. San Antonians love to party Fiesta style and our members from all over the US and Canada were no exception! We indulged in Mexican food, walks along the famous Riverwalk, lots of laughter and festivities, and a farewell reception, complete with a live Mariachi band. It was such a fun and memorable celebration for all of us!

Oh, and did I mention the great conference takeaways?? Wow!! Our members outdid themselves with shared best practices and stellar presentations. It was over-the-top outstanding! We can’t wait for next year to host our 2020 family reunion.

WE LOVE OUR MITS FAMILY! They are a world class group of business owners, leaders, and just super awesome, generous people who love what they do!
