“We knew we had found something special”

My wife and I have been owners of a Made in the Shade franchise for just over three years. After a 35-year career in technology, I was seeking something new and challenging, but I knew that I did not want to go from one corporate quagmire to another.

When we found Made in the Shade and submitted the online form to get more information, we were contacted a day or so later. From the very first conversation we had with them; we knew we had found something special. Speaking with Cathy Morse and her team seemed like catching up with old friends, and not at all like a discussion to buy a franchise.

With Made in the Shade, we enjoy almost complete autonomy to run our business, but Cathy and her folks are always there to assist and encourage. Sure, there are some guidelines that we have to follow, but we do it happily knowing that we are supported by the best franchising organization in the country.
