Coming from an entrepreneurial family, this dynamic young couple will bring the necessary drive, energy and determination to their new business and we have no doubt that they will be highly successful. Professional background
Sinead earned her degree from the University of South Florida. Soon after graduation, she opened a staffing franchise, based in Sarasota, with her mom in 2020. That business is thriving and the experience gained paved the way to pursue the Made in the Shade Franchise.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina, William trained under a master carpenter on custom home projects. That experience resulted in a successful 14-year career in construction. He relocated to Sarasota to startup a Fortiline Waterworks branch which he has operated for the past 5-years.
Sinead and William met through doing business together and will be getting married in December 2024.
What hobbies/interests do you enjoy doing in your free time?
We take advantage of what Florida has to offer as often as possible. We love going to the Universal and Disney Theme Parks and taking in Tampa Bay Lightning, and Tampa Bay Rays games. We’re huge foodies and are always trying new places, traveling, and going to the Venice dog beach with our two dogs: Archer and Russell.
Tell us about your family and their interests.
Our family is very close, and we love to travel and spend time with one another. We always spend the holidays together and frequently cruise or visit relatives in Ireland and South Carolina.
William’s mom has been a teacher for over 30 years. She currently teaches middle school and loves to hang out with her girlfriends.
My parents are entrepreneurs and own multiple businesses in Sarasota and surrounding areas.
My sister is a hairdresser and mother to 3 kids. My brother is a firefighter and works for the City of Tampa.
What appealed to you about the Made in the Shade opportunity?
We wanted to start and build a business together and establish a foundation for our family. After doing our research, Made in the Shade checked every box. The culture aligned exactly with what we were looking for in a business. Everyone we spoke to was very supportive and had great things to say about the company.
