Teea and Martin bring a strong entrepreneurial background and years of hands-on industry experience to Made in the Shade. Having worked together as small business owners for more than 17 years, they understand the importance of dependable service, strong customer relationships, and taking pride in the work they do. They also bring six years of experience installing window treatments, giving them valuable firsthand knowledge of what it takes to deliver a quality finished result.
Their experience makes Made in the Shade a natural fit. Teea and Martin enjoy helping homeowners find practical, beautiful solutions for their spaces while providing the personalized service that comes with a locally owned business. Living along the Mississippi Gulf Coast also gives them a unique understanding of the area’s climate and lifestyle—especially when it comes to creating comfortable outdoor spaces that offer relief from the South Mississippi sun and heat.
Whether helping a homeowner select shades, blinds, shutters, outdoor patio solutions, or another custom window treatment, Teea and Martin are committed to making the process easy and enjoyable from consultation through installation.
Outside of work, family and community are an important part of their lives. Teea and Martin have been married for 24 years and have two sons. They are actively involved in their church and local community, and when they have some free time, you’ll often find them enjoying the outdoors or fishing in the waters of South Mississippi.
