Made in the Shade Blinds and More would like to welcome aboard new owner and adventurer, Will Hamilton. After getting to know Will, we are excited to have his energy and enthusiasm on our team of franchise owners!
Right out of college, Will began his career in the hospitality industry managing a sailboat for tourists in the Caribbean. He then switched gears, locating to the mountains of Wyoming and jumping into the restaurant business- bartending, serving, and ultimately managing. Will has also dabbled a bit in real estate.
With such a diverse background, what about the Made in the Shade franchise opportunity appealed to Will? Well, in keeping with his enthusiastic, hardworking personality, he was drawn to “the variety of hats you have to wear to run this business. From in-home sales, installer, to marketing and accounting, the list goes on; this job will never get boring!” Just as he was straight out of college, Will looks forward to being his own boss again and building his business from the ground up!
Within his first year, Will intends lay the groundwork for a lucrative business by carving out a viable space within his community in order to best market his business for maximum success. With his background in hospitality, we have no doubt he will have no problems reaching out through various marketing campaigns, gaining customers, and growing through referrals.
Long-term, he would like to be able to delegate some of his responsibilities and hand off some of his “hats” to multiple employees and eventually passing the business down to his children!
In his free time, you can usually find Will outdoors skiing, hiking, sailing, and golfing. He also enjoys spending quality time with his children.
