A big Made in the Shade welcome to Ryan Lepree, our very first franchisee in the awesome state of New Jersey! Ryan services the Jersey Shore area and is thrilled to bring the Made in the Shade brand to his home state.
Ryan joins MITS from a 16-year career in advertising sales. His professional, consultative sales skills were geared toward new home construction, as well as apartment rental markets. After some diligent research, Ryan realized that he wanted more for his career, family, and quality of life. So, he evaluated where his strengths and interest lie, and all roads led him to Made in the Shade Blinds and More. His passion for helping people make educated decisions, as well as providing quality products and service for the homeowner and building industry, were both key motivating factors.
When asked what the biggest appeal was regarding the Made in the Shade Blinds and More opportunity, Ryan confidently stated that he loved home improvement projects and believed he had a good eye for design. This opportunity would allow him to utilize his selling skills, as well as his mechanical abilities during installs.
Ryan also had the privilege of attending the 2017 Made in the Shade annual conference before making his final commitment to purchase his franchise. It was a sealed deal before he left our Middleton, Wisconsin venue! He loved meeting the team/family and was immediately given the reassurance that “this is a big family and you are never on an island by yourself.” We wholeheartedly agree!
Ryan’s immediate business goal is to build strong relationships through customer service that will transform his business into primarily word of mouth referrals. He also plans to work hard to build the MITS brand in his area by networking with realtors and home improvement contractors, as well as targeting his marketing efforts.
As far as long-term business goals, his mission is solid! Ryan plans to build his local business so that he is the number one person in the industry to come to for solid consultative advice, as well as providing the strongest customer service in the industry.
Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and is looking forward to a business which will allow him the freedom and flexibility to do so. During his leisure time, he particularly enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling.
