We are excited to add two new members to our MITS family, Jeremy and Aubri Nienhuser, from Merriam, Kansas. Jeremy has a background in sales and serving in the ministry. Three years ago, he started his own home remodeling company, with high hopes that it would be the dream business for which he had hoped. After his first full bathroom remodel, he realized it wasn’t exactly what he enjoyed doing. In fact, to use Jeremy’s exact words, “I hated it!”
While performing his due diligence, Jeremy decided to attend the annual MITS Conference which was only weeks away. He claims he was going to “get the real scoop” and went on a quest asking everyone there to tell him something negative about MITS and its founder, Cathy Morse. Instead, he heard nothing but praise and everyone told him that Cathy was wonderful! That sealed the deal for him and he wholeheartedly decided to join the MITS family.
Jeremy loves the simplicity of the MITS model with its full line of window covering products and the ability to do his own installs. His immediate goal is to generate enough income to allow his wife, Aubri, to retire from her current position as a PE teacher, stay home with the kids, and help him grow the business.
Jeremy also aspires to become the Kansas City expert on curtains and shutters! He has already begun his journey quite successfully and no doubt he will covet this title. He endeavors to build relationships with automatic referral sources to generate six whole home installations per month. He also wants to eventually build a sales team.
His long-term business goals include leasing a warehouse and office away from home. He also wants to be able to provide good paying jobs for hard-working people, and enjoy the rewards of a work a 20-hour week because of an established team. Eventually, he wants to train his children to take over the family business.
What GREAT goals!
When not working their MITS business, Jeremy and Aubri enjoy relaxing in their backyard with good friends after a good day’s work. Jeremy also enjoys playing games, reading books, journaling, and writing music. Aubri loves to cook, bake, and read.
