Made in the Shade Blinds and More proudly welcomes Anthony and Chris Markwell from Tennessee, serving their hometown of Franklin and surrounding areas. This is one ambitious, on-the-go, dedicated power couple that we’re excited to have aboard as new owners.
Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, Chris worked for nearly 10 years in account management and sales. Anthony is currently working in corporate strategy with a focus on finance and accounting. So why Made in the Shade? This business-savvy duo were already in the market to own their own franchise and “were drawn to MITS because of the tremendous success for which this opportunity allows, as well as, the invaluable expertise and support provided by leadership.”
With Franklin continuously growing as a city, there is inevitably new housing and Chris and Anthony plan to take full advantage of that growth. Within their first year, they plan to establish themselves largely on social media and focus marketing on the many new builds and developments in the area. They also intend to seek out and partner with a trusted installer to help land their leading substantial sales to build upon.
Ultimately, these two power-houses plan to be recognized as the #1 provider of window coverings in Franklin, TN and say they “look forward to growing this business well into the future.”
Anthony and Chris love spending time with their two kids – taking walks around the neighborhood, playing games, and enjoying movie nights. It’s important to know that they are HUGE Ole Miss fans and love rooting for The Rebels – win or lose!
