Please join us in welcoming Jake Harris and Mike Harris, the father-and-son team behind Made in the Shade Northwest Arkansas, proudly serving Bentonville, Bella Vista, Cave Springs, Centerton, Rogers, and surrounding communities throughout Northwest Arkansas!
For Jake and Mike, family is at the heart of their business. Building Made in the Shade Northwest Arkansas together gives them the opportunity to combine their close family relationship with a shared commitment to serving homeowners throughout the community. Jake describes working alongside his dad as an especially meaningful part of this new chapter, and that family-first approach carries into the way they want customers to feel when working with their team.
Jake and his wife, Jessica, are raising their two children, Emerson and Hudson, in Northwest Arkansas. For Jake, being involved
in the community and making a positive impact are important parts of both his personal life and his approach to business. He hopes to build genuine relationships with the people around him while setting an example for his children about the importance of serving others and giving back.
Mike Harris
Together, Jake and Mike are bringing that relationship-focused approach to custom window treatments throughout Northwest Arkansas. Through Made in the Shade’s convenient in-home consultation experience, they can meet homeowners in their own spaces, help them compare samples in their home’s actual lighting and décor, and recommend solutions customized to each room and window. Their team offers custom blinds, shades, shutters, outdoor solutions, motorization, and more, with professional measuring and installation.
Living and working in Northwest Arkansas also gives the team firsthand knowledge of what local homes need. From managing intense afternoon sunlight during the warmer months to improving insulation through colder Ozark winters, Jake and Mike are focused on helping homeowners select window treatments that combine style, comfort, functionality, and long-term value.
