As the new owner of Made in the Shade Knoxville, Candy originally hails from West Virginia but has since settled nicely into life in the beautiful foothills of the Smokey Mountains. It was while she was researching window fashions for her own home that brought her to the Made in the Shade website. She was so impressed with what she saw and was determined to purchase from Made in the Shade, but there was not an owner in her market. That’s when she decided to not only set a new career path to sell custom window fashions, but also become a Made in the Shade owner! She is excited to consult with homeowners to help them find the perfect color, style, and functionality for their window treatment needs and transform their home.
Candy’s experience from many years in retail management in the home decor space has provided her a clear understanding of the value of offering premium quality products and superior customer service. Candy is in a perfect position to succeed in her new Made in the Shade adventure.
And speaking of adventure, in her spare time, Candy is an avid traveler and a licensed Aeronaut! She loves flying her hot air balloon over the beautiful Tennessee landscape. Candy also has a background in Horticulture and is the proud mother of three wonderful daughters.
