Please welcome our newest Franchise to the Made in the Shade Family! Randy and Kim Foster recently purchased a territory in Omaha, Nebraska and will be growing a business in the Omaha metro area. Randy lives in Omaha with his wife and business partner, Kim, and two children. In his free time, Randy likes to attend and help coach their daughter’s basketball games, cook, spectate sports and build hot rods. He attended our April training and has already started taking orders and appointments.
As he researched the business, he especially liked the brand package that MITS delivered and was impressed when talking with other franchises on the phone. Conversations with Josh Morse and especially Cathy sealed the deal. Prior to opening his business, Randy and Kim had a business flipping homes and rental properties for profit, as well as a transportation company. After phasing out of these businesses, a brief stint selling cars got Randy motivated to start another business. A legacy to leave for the family is the focus of his time.
His business goals are simple, to become a company that his clients can rely on for all of their current and future window treatment needs. Kim recently phased out of her job and came on-board with MITS full-time so they can both leverage their vast network in the community. In the past, Randy traveled and worked a lot of hours away from home, so he’s looking forward to focusing on spending more time with his family and making Made in the Shade a household name in Omaha.
