We’re excited to welcome Heather Gerich to the Made in the Shade family as the proud new owner of Made in the Shade Waxahachie, serving Waxahachie, Ennis, Red Oak, Maypearl, Ovilla, and the surrounding Ellis County communities in Texas.
Heather brings more than 25 years of experience in medical device sales and business development, where she thrived as a mentor and leader, guiding teams to meet ambitious revenue goals while keeping the focus on improving patient healthcare. Her career reflects her passion for helping people succeed and her commitment to excellence.
Before her time in sales, Heather also worked in residential interior design and home staging, developing a keen eye for how colors, textures, and design choices transform a space. This blend of business expertise and design sensibility makes her a perfect fit for the world of custom window treatments.
Heather and her husband Chad make their home in Ellis County, where they live with their beloved English Bulldog, Wally. They enjoy traveling, exploring new cuisines, and are deeply involved in animal rescue — providing medical support and recovery for bulldogs in need. In her downtime, Heather loves cooking and gathering with family and friends over a great meal.
Heather was drawn to Made in the Shade for the opportunity to combine her entrepreneurial drive, love of design, and commitment to customer care with a proven business model and a supportive franchise community. She’s excited to build a thriving business that helps local homeowners enhance their spaces with stylish, functional, and personalized window treatments.
