This dynamic duo brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and passion to the Made in the Shade family, and they are thrilled to serve the beautiful communities of Rogue Valley, including Jackson, Siskiyou, Josephine, and Klamath counties.
Trevor has a strong background in leadership, design, and service. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University and spent 8 years in the United States Air Force as a helicopter crew chief, where he learned the importance of precision, teamwork, and adaptability. After his time in the military, Trevor spent 7 years as a partner and home designer in a civil engineering business, giving him firsthand experience in creating beautiful, functional spaces. He’s excited to take that expertise into a new niche within the home improvement industry with Made in the Shade.
Rachel complements Trevor’s skills perfectly with her analytical and educational background. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia and spent 10 years as a math teacher before transitioning to her current role as an actuarial analyst. Rachel’s attention to detail and problem-solving mindset make her an invaluable part of the business as they work together to bring tailored window treatment solutions to their clients.
Trevor and Rachel are proud parents to three wonderful kids—two girls and a boy—who keep them on their toes with a busy schedule of family activities. Their family loves music and anything active that gets them outside and meeting new people. They cherish time spent together, whether it’s traveling, enjoying the outdoors, or working hard on things they’re passionate about. When not running the business or enjoying family time, Trevor and Rachel can often be found backpacking, fishing, hunting, attending church, or playing sports.
What drew Trevor and Rachel to Made in the Shade was the brand’s flexibility, growth potential, and the chance to be part of a supportive community. They love the collaborative spirit of the franchise and are eager to bring their skills and energy to the table.
