Dear Cathy,

I am so proud to be part of the Made in the Shade family. I’ve always wanted to be a business owner. My father was self-employed. My father-in-law was self-employed.  I wanted the same but was always too scared to take the plunge. Circumstances changed and when the timing was finally right I looked at many franchises. Made in the Shade was the best fit with my investment AND with my interests. The relatively low start-up costs made it a little less daunting to get started and allowed me to recoup that investment pretty quickly. My sales have grown each year and I look forward to building my team to include additional consultants.

This wouldn’t happen without the great vendor relationships, support from other MITS owners, and your leadership. Your attitude of gratitude is evident in all of these area. You are so warm and gracious that our vendors can’t help but love MITS and value our relationships and business. You model this gratitude for the franchise owners, creating a group that supports each other generously and creatively.

 Thank you for the work that you do on behalf of the owners. Thank you for creating a culture where we appreciate each and every client and each other. Thank you for welcoming me into the Made in the Shade family.
